Mexico City, gunmen attacked a bar in northern Mexico in Chihuahua City, killing 15 people. two journalists were killed in the attack.

“They have been identified as Javier Aguirre Salinas and Hector Javier Munoz Moya. Reporters from the city of Chihuahua with many years of working at the radio station,” said a source from kantornegara of Chihuahua, as reported by AFP on Sunday (4/22/2012) .

Nine other people were killed in the violence that occurred close to their communities where the drug war is often commonplace.

One victim who is a journalist, Hector Salinas, is a radio journalist and last worked as a director of a local news site Futuro.mx. Meanwhile, Javier Moya is wartawaan on a local radio station and recently worked as a press spokesman for the city of Chihuahua.

Witnesses said the attack was about seven heavily armed men stormed into a bar called La Colorada and ask to be notified the existence of two or three people. After getting an answer, they opened fire indiscriminately.

Authorities have not been able to find a motive for the attack. Chihuahua is a state in the long border with Mexico and the United States. The city is regarded as one of the most dangerous areas in Mexico due to drug cartel violence.
